The love for sports came early - soccer, basketball, and snowboarding were my life growing up, competing at a high level in all three.  After high school I continued playing soccer and was fortunate to be a member of the first women's varsity soccer team at the University of Michigan, graduating with a degree in sociology.

My experiences with athletics and my time as an NCAA athlete played a significant role in forming who I am today and how I approach photography.  I understand the athlete's mind and the flow of the game.  I can see the relationships between teammates, coaches, and fans.  I know what determination and hard work looks like.  I feel the the range of emotions from victory to defeat.  With each assignment I aim to capture the entire scene; action, personalities, details and the atmosphere.

Freelance assignments and clients for 2022-2023 include Getty Images, Michigan Photography, University of Michigan Women's Ice Hockey, the Ann Arbor Sports Commission, Perpetual Sports Network, as well as high school and travel teams in the Ann Arbor area.  I'm available to cover single games for teams, individual athletes, tournaments, seasons and special events in addition to unique team and senior photo sessions for athletes.
